This is the story of how a father learned to sacrifice all of his own dreams and plans for the sake of his son. At his home in Louisville, KY Patrick Henry continued to face opposition through surgery after surgery. While his father worked to provide for the expensive procedures, Patrick Henry dreamed of one day becoming a member of a real marching band. Patrick Henry had to fight all the odds as he became an accomplished pianist, trumpet player, and singer. The Hughes family’s story reminds us all to look at the things we have, rather than the things we don’t, as we all try to reach our God-given potential.
